Slidebar is free and open-source software. Use it on as many Macs as you like, at no cost.
The code
Slidebar’s source code is public on GitHub under the MIT License. You’re welcome to read it, build it yourself and suggest changes.
No warranty
Slidebar is provided as it is, without any warranty. It uses parts of macOS that Apple can change at any time. We do our best to keep it working with new versions of macOS, but we can’t promise it always will.
Permissions
Slidebar reads finger positions on your trackpad only to recognize edge gestures, on your Mac. Accessibility access is optional: it lets Slidebar show the on-screen volume and brightness display and press media and keyboard shortcuts for you.
Trademarks
Mac, macOS, Magic Trackpad and Night Shift are trademarks of Apple Inc. Slidebar is not made or endorsed by Apple.
