Slidebar doesn’t collect anything about you. Your touches are handled on your Mac and never leave it.
The app
- There are no accounts, analytics, ads or trackers.
- Trackpad touches are read in memory to recognize edge gestures. They are never stored or sent anywhere.
- Slidebar goes online for one thing: checking for its own updates, and only while updates are turned on. The check asks for one small file and sends nothing about you.
- The optional Accessibility permission lets Slidebar show the on-screen display and press keys for you. Slidebar doesn’t read your screen or what you type.
